The Seaborne WaveCatcher Old School is a 38mm automatic surf GMT watch inspired by the colorful surfboards and carefree beach culture of the 1960s and ’70s. Powered by the Seiko TMI NH34 automatic GMT movement, it pairs a vintage-striped dial based on an actual surfboard with a custom GMT bezel marking famous surf breaks around the world—including Pipeline, Cloudbreak, Maverick’s, Supertubes and Montañita.

The Old School dial takes its inspiration from a very famous surfboard in a very famous surf movie of the 1960s and ’70s—a little faded, a little funky and unapologetically retro. We built the entire watch around our love of surf culture, surf travel, colorful vintage design and mechanical watches.

And this isn't just a cool dial wrapped around a generic watch.

WaveCatcher was custom-built from the ground up around a rock-solid automatic GMT movement, with sapphire crystal, sapphire bezel insert, 200 meters of water resistance and a marine-grade stainless-steel case that's perfectly comfortable getting wet.

Yes. WaveCatcher has 200 meters of water resistance and was designed for swimming, surfing and life around the water.

Just make sure the crown is properly secured before getting wet.
